St John Ghana works to improve health, safety, and well-being across communities nationwide through practical, life-saving first aid services and training programmes delivered by staff and volunteers.

Services offered
St John Ghana saves lives, strengthens communities, and equips people with the skills to respond confidently in emergencies. We provide first aid services at public events across the country, supporting participants and spectators at national day celebrations, athletics and football matches, cycling competitions, marathon races, and monthly health walks organised by the Ghana Health Service. We also support home-based care for the sick, elderly, and individuals with mobility challenges.
First aid training is a core part of our work in Ghana. We offer internationally recognised courses for the public as well as tailored training for specific community groups, helping to build safer and more resilient communities.
